In its infancy, the equatorial archipelagic country of Mesovilla saw unity, peace, and order. Under the guidance of a representative democratic government, the natives’ lives were simple. As the years went on, the politicians became complacent and only concerned with the wealth they amassed - while ignoring the social and economic turmoil that was brewing. Soon after, various violent social uprisings occurred, followed by the deterioration of law and order. Thus began, the 2-year period known as the Great Liberation. 

In its aftermath, the country of Mesovilla would eventually regain order, but at the loss of 150,000 lives. Under the guise of security and stability, a police state structure was put into place. This new form of government would prove to be effective through fear and subjugation of the masses for a time. Many years later, the country would again see instability, this time being on the brink of civil war. The province of New   Havenport had turned on the Helix capital and threatened to use a biological weapon to gain supremacy. Confusion swept the nation on which side to join. The Great Civil War lasted eight years after ending with a single nuclear strike on New Havenport.

The Helix capital maintained its dominance and passed stricter laws snuffing out whatever freedoms were left. As the years went on, government corruption festered. Among the people, there are very few who have opposed the tyrannical system. These freedom fighters are the voice of the innocent, and defenders of civil liberties. They are the Aurora Blade. Like before, the country of Mesovilla erupts into further turmoil. This time, the corruption runs deeper than they could have imagined. There will be many challenges to overcome as the events unfold before our protagonists. What fate lies ahead for them?
